Paul Odlin
OCC is owned & operated by Paul Odlin. Paul first started competitive road cycling in 1999 while studying Physical Education at University of Otago. He graduated in 2001 with 1st class honours (Exercise Prescription) & has since trained as a Secondary School Teacher & Cycle Coach (CyclingNZ Level 1). All the while Paul has competed successfully in national & international road cycling events gaining recognition as a top domestic road cyclist.
Racing highlights for Paul include 2013 Oceania Time Trial Champion; 2012 New Zealand Elite Men’s time trial & Oceania Road Race Champion; sprint ace winner 2011 Tour de Korea; stage win Trust House Tour of Wellington; first overall in the 2007 Benchmark Homes/Calder Stewart series & six individual rounds since its inception in 2005; & twice winner of the GrapeRide.
Paul’s future vision for the next 10 years is to make his business more profitable (& sustaining of a growing family), & recognisable as a distinguished cycle coaching service for the development of athletes.

Odlin Cycle Coaching specialises in coaching & mentoring cyclists, of all abilities, bike skills training, mobility and resistance training. Paul Odlin provides mentoring, internet-based individualised programmes, & cycling with riders individually and in group training.
My vision for the next ten years is to continue the growth of my cycle coaching business by being a well recognised & distinguished leader in the cycle coaching industry.
